MiDAS Accessible assessments for minibus drivers supporting passengers who need accessible transport.
Dawn is based in Edwinstowe and welcomes individual and organisational bookings across Nottinghamshire, with appointments further afield by arrangement.
MiDAS Accessible builds on the standard assessment with an additional accessible assessment. Tell Dawn about your vehicle and passenger requirements when enquiring so the arrangements can be confirmed before booking.
Complete the e-learning in your own time before your appointment. Dawn will explain how this fits into your booking.
The standard driving assessment takes approximately 45 minutes in the vehicle supplied by your organisation.
Allow a further 45 minutes for the accessible assessment. The combined standard and accessible assessments therefore take around 90 minutes, in addition to the e-learning. Scheduling and any other arrangements will be confirmed when booking.
The organisation must supply the minibus for the assessment. When contacting Dawn, include details of the accessible vehicle and the equipment used to support your passengers.

Enquiries are welcome from care providers, schools, charities, community groups and other organisations operating accessible transport, as well as individual minibus drivers.
